2008 WINEWORKS WHITE (75% VIOGNIER, 25% VIDAL BLANC) $16
A bright floral and citrusy blend of two very compatible grape varieties. Made in stainless steel tanks to highlight the fruit character, this is wine has all the elements of a spring and summer quaffer. The aromatic intensity is very inviting; the palate is dry and crisp with enough acidity to match up to many food pairings.
2008 WINEWORKS CHARDONNAY $16
A light and crisp style of Chardonnay without any new oak. Fermented and aged in both stainless steel and older oak barrels, this Chardonnay reflects the clean and refreshing flavors of this classic grape. Nice hints apple and pear are enhanced by the vibrant acidity. A great match for seafood and lighter fare.
2008 WINEWORKS ROSE' (100% Cabernet Franc) $12
A dry Rose' created from Cabernet Franc grapes. The grapes were crushed and soaked overnight on the skins prior to pressing. This is a classic dry rose' with great color and fresh acidity with hints of strawberry and cherries. This wine is refreshing on hot summer days.
2008 WINEWORKS RED (65% CABERNET FRANC 35% CABERNET SAUVIGNON) $15
A blend of the two classic varietals. Created in a ready to drink style this wine expresses bright red fruits and earthy aromas, leather and spice evokes thoughts of an old-world style. On the palate, evolved tannins give this wine structure and grace. Aged in older oak. this ready-to-drink style suits many everyday meals.
2006 WINEWORKS MERLOT $16
A easy softer style red with minimal oak. This Merlot is made to please now, with gentle extraction and softer tannins. A great wine for everyday meals.
