Maison Shaps Rosé 2017
This Rosé is from the Coteaux Bourguignons appellation in Burgundy, a large area that translates as the "hills of Burgundy." A blend of 80% Gamay and 20% Pinot Noir, this light, fruity rosé has some natural CO2 and no residual sugar. This elegant wine has notes of cherry and raspberry aromas and tart cherry on the palate. Fermented in stainless steel and pressed immediately with little skin contact as the Gamay has naturally dark skins to create color and good texture. An elegant wine meant to be consumed young.
